A very meaningful NDP for us...

It's Singapore National Day today.. We didn't have any official job today with regards to NDP related event...

But today is one of the most meaningful day for us.. We spent like 5hrs in KK Hospital...
To be do some face/body painting and a little balloon sculpturing for Charmaine... I believe that quite a bit of you all may know her? She is 'Our Feisty Princess' a very brave girl who is fighting so hard against cancer..

Actually Patrick was the one who was painting for her during her 6th Birthday in July (when I was in Switzerland painting the SG gymnastic kids..) but the mummy Cynthia was so happy with Patrick skills that she called us again on National Day, as little Charmaine had to spent the National Day in hospital again..

We actually spent half a day in the hospital, but it was a well spent one.. we got to know more about Charmaine...

Here's a little bit of pictures, taken from Cynthia's facebook...

This is Charmaine, she's a very very brave child, despite being really tired and in pain, she is doing her best in whatever she does..

UPDATED: Charmaine left us in Oct 2011... but she will forever be my most special 'student'...

Here's Chamaine elder brother, he's very sensible despite that he is only like 7/8 years old. Dotes on his sis a lot!

And he's even saying the SG pledge in KKH when the NDP was telecasting live on TV!

After painting Charmaine and her brother, Charmaine got to paint up her mummy's arm and face, with a bit of help from Katherine.

It was a really touching moment, coz you can really see the mum's love towards her daughter, and also the daughter's love towards the mum, the effort she puts in, etc... And Charmaine, despite her pain, etc, did a VERY VERY GOOD JOB!!! (Charmaine painted fireworks on her mum's arm, and then a butterfly mask on her mum's face..)

Wishing them all the best, and if you are free and reading this post, do visit 'Our Feisty Princess' to find out more about Charmaine and how you can help them out..
